Ok, can we just get this out of the way and say that Sub > Dub on every anime out there? Sure, there are some good dubs, but they are never better than the originals. Uh...sorry, disagree. I prefer hearing English to reading it.

That's my stance. Unless it's really good (Azumanga, Rozen Maiden), I'm generally hesitant to watching subs.

But-But the voice acting in some of the best shows is so... bad. And most of the voice actors/actresses (actually, I find this way more for the female characters) never fits the character. I'm sorry, but that is my stance and I stand by it. The only series I made through without reverting to subs was Fooly Cooly (but that is a big exception).

Hearing it in English makes it seem more real to me. Especially with like Yu-Gi-Oh and Animatrix (granted, Animatrix was made for America, but still). And, honestly, I'm sure the Japanese is better, but it's still pretty dark to me, especially with all the other crap called cartoons nowadays.

Cowboy Bebop is just so much better in English. Unless you can pick out a mexican accent in Japanese, I'd recommend it dubbed.
Most others I watch subbed.
Oh, edit, I should mention that I doubt I could stomach subbed DBZ. After watching it all through my childhood and playing Budokai 3 all the time, I don't think any other voice actors could fill that spot in my heart.

Yeah like the one piece dub is absolutely terrible even though the subbed version absolutely rules. But 4kids is about to lose the rights to the dubbed version and Funimation is going to pick them up so the dubbed version still has a chance of being good after all.

Ok, can we just get this out of the way and say that Sub > Dub on every anime out there? I'm going to have to agree with you here. From all of the ones I've watched, I prefer the subs. I'm sure there are some out there with great dubs, but I haven't watched them.

Would it be bad if I mentioned IGPX again?
It's one of the best dubs I've ever seen.

Did someone say... SOULS??!?! +1. Bobobo is one of the few animes with good voice actors that fit their characters. Love Hina would also have had perfect voice acting if it had not been for Kitsune's southern accent.

I don't watch many anime shows, but Wolf's Rain was great, especially if you like wolves. I really do recommend it.
