Moved into a new house.

Since Saturday my family and I have been moving into our new house, and now we're finally done.

Carrying all those boxes was worth it...this place is really cool. And much bigger than our old house.

My only gripe is that the internet connection seems to randomly cut out. Maybe because my room is in the basement. Oh well.

Sweet. That sucks about the internet connection. Are you wired or wireless?

Wired connection. The computer and router are literally less than a foot away from the phone jack. BUT I just found out that the connection only cuts out when someone's using the phone. Hmm.

I think they hooked it up wrong or something...

The funny thing is, my mom is a manager at the company who provides our internet service.

Your phone might be on the same frequency as the router because we had the same problem and congrats on the new house.

Well, it turns out we just forgot to put DSL filters on all the phones. *facepalm*

I was wondering if that might be the case as I was reading the first couple of posts... I was going to post that as a possible solution, but I see you discovered that already.

Haha, I had the same problem when setting up a friend's internet connection. Glad to hear its all going well now.
