Well, I decided to go all out on my computer. Lately I have really been getting into the modding aspect of computers, and it is almost like a form of art, in my opinion. Sure, I hand built my computer so that it runs like a beast, but that wasn't good enough for me. I wanted something that looked like a beast and I feel like I have achieved that with these latest additions. I did a complete exterior revamp and changed the whole case, along with all the fans and accessories. This is a picture of my old case, which was cool, but not as cool as I liked: Now onto the pictures of my "new" computer: Front, with camera flash: Front, without camera flash: Side, with camera flash: Side, without camera flash: I have 8 fans in the case. 4 case fans with blue cold cathode tubes. 2 fans in the power supply with blue LEDs. 1 fan on my processor with blue LEDs. 1 fan on my graphics card that has an awesome heatsink, but no lights. It sounds like a freaking vacuum while on. I also have a heatsinks with blinking LEDs on my RAM that I can set to do different patterns and such. Then on the top and bottom, I have 15in blue cold cathodes that I can set to be sound reactive. The other thing that I have for it that I can bet almost nobody has, is a remote control starter for my computer. Yes, I can start or reset my computer from the comfort of my sofa, using a remote that looks exactly like the remotes they give on to lock and unlock car doors. My next step is to do some wire management. As you can tell, there are wires EVERYWHERE in the case. This not only makes it not look as good, but it also reduces airflow, making the computer run hotter. I usually just try to tuck the wires away along the sides or behind the case, but this time around there are just too many because each of the 4 case fans have a ton of wires to power the fan and the cathode tubes. So, instead of just hiding wires, I am going to be cutting and shortening the wires, so they aren't so long. After I'm done with that, I'm going to buy another 120mm fan(like the one on the back of the case) and put it where the one side fan is(if you look in the picture, you can see the lower fan spot can take a larger fan, which wasn't shown in the picture when I bought it), then move that fan to the open fan spot. So, what do you guys think of it? I had the idea of replacing one of my 15" cold cathodes with a spare red one I have laying around the house, then setting them to always be sound reactive. I thought it might give it an cool look while listening to music.

It looks like an Xbox mixed with a PS3 combined with a Wii. It has an X like the Xbox, it's black and rectangular like the PS3, and it's blue like the Wii.
You, my friend, have created a WMD by combining these 3! Now you will get the newest SBemail 3 days ahead of time! Looks impressive, though. I'd want one if I wasn't sure it didn't cost a fortune

I think you're talking about my first case, which was the first picture I posted. That one is sitting in my basement doing nothing >_> I think I might mess around with that one and mod the crap out of it for fun. Maybe paint it some different colors. I dunno.

I honestly can't comprehend why people throw so much money into something as frivolous as the case. It's probably better spent on maybe another gig of RAM to go towards a video card or processor or something. The case I'm getting looks ugly as sin but it comes with a power supply and is only 40 dollars.

Power supply w/case for less than $40? Have fun replacing half your parts when the PSU fails and takes half the computer with it.

Have fun dumping all that money into something that doesn't actually improve your computer. My dad used to run a computer shop and all the power supplies he ordered cost him 20 dollars. Never gave us any trouble, and very few clients needed them replacing.

But what compenents were they running? If you are running a high end system (Like I am), you need a PSU that is atleast $70+. It is quite possibly the most important part of your system, next to the motherboard. As for spending my money on something that doesn't affect performance? So what? I like to have a case that looks cool, and my system is already performing the way I need it to. Later on, I will upgrade my system when it needs it, but as for right now I am going to make it look aesthetically pleasing.
