I think this will be better than the Iron Man film, simply because A: It's Batman B: It's the sequel to Batman Begins C: Christian Bale as Batman D: Heath Ledger as the Joker and E: Christopher Nolan is directing again

Not bad for a teaser, but I can't wait for the real trailer, or another teaser where we see some footage.

Nice. Loved Batman Begins, I have a feeling I'll love this.

Does anyone else think The Joker looks ridiculous?

He has green hair, not lame brown hair with green highlights!
And his chalk white face and bright red lips were because he fell in a vat of acid not...makeup!  Tongue

Besides that, it looks awesome. >_>
Batman Begins was one of the best superhero flicks ever, so this should also be excellent.

A villian with completely green hair would look really stupid in a live action movie. The director knows what he's doing.

While I will say that I loved Batman Begins (SO much better than the previous two Batman films) and that the sequel looks very promising, but I don't think Heath Ledger will be a better Joker than Jack Nicholson.  Jack was just too perfect and creepy as the Joker.  I wish they had done a different villain, or, at the very least, there will be one more villain besides the Joker.

Jack Nicholson wasn't...bad as the Joker, but I don't think he was perfect. Honestly, Mark Hamill does the best Joker I've ever heard, although Kevin Michael Richardson's Joker on The Batman is pretty good too. Actually, his Joker is pretty similar to Hamill's Joker.

Attn Christopher Nolan: Have my babies.

Best superhero movie? Yes.

Does Heath Ledger deserve an Oscar nomination? Yes.

Does it live up to the hype? Yes.

This will be the first time I've gone to a movie on opening night since the Lord of the Rings.

I am stoked.

I definitely didn't want my money back. I just got back from seeing the film in IMAX (which I highly recommend).

The Dark Knight is the second best comic book-based movie I've ever seen. Not quite up to the level of Iron Man, but I was thoroughly entertained despite how long the film was.
Heath Ledger's performance was scary good. And he nailed the Joker laugh perfectly.  Grin

The only thing holding the film back was Batman's ridiculous Bat-voice. Sounds like he's been playing a little too much MGS4. It was really hard to take him seriously with that Solid Snake voice.
