SB Email 182 - Business Trip
« on: October 15, 2007, 04:33:56 pm »

Roxy asks Strong Bad about when he goes on a serious business trip. Homestar fills in for The Cheat, who got promoted.

182

I found it pretty funny. Good commentary on what most consider a typical trip. Homestar and Strong Bad work together to meet the company's needs.

As an aside, I've been on this forum almost since it began, and I've witnessed 100+ emails be reported, but this is my first one to write up.

Secrets include:

When Strong Bad says, "Mostly check." and goes back to the checklist, click on the dash-y checkmark for some base-yball cards.

Click on the words, "Peanut Brittle".

Click on the airplane at the end for a commercial for Expense Acoount Ones.

It was good for a couple chuckles.

When he talked about the name Roxy, it is pretty true.

"Sure am, Sam" is a reference to "i she be".
"Pork b/w beans" is a reference to "helium".

The subtleties of the email made me laugh more than anything else:

- The Cheat's plaque with the long bent extension on it to fill in the title.
- The Crate broken under Strong Sad's weight.
- Homestar's dogs killing him.  Apparently his business shoes don't have stars on the soles. Cheesy

Overall, good email.
